At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:

A. cite some modals used in conversation and composition;

B. identify error in a sentence;

C. rewrite sentences observing the identified error;

D. participate actively in the discussion.

Rules in Using Modals

· It should be followed by the main verb.

· Main verb should be in its base form.

· Single modal should be used for a verb.

· It should be used with correct order of words.
